Chun Tung has studied music composition at the Hong Kong International Institute of Music, majoring in vocal training. For four years he was guided by professional musicians such as tenor Enico Luk and baritone Gerald Hon.

Since 2007 Chun Tung started performing publicly. His singing could be heard over Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, in Plaza Hollywood, the Institute of Vocational Education in Chai Wan, Concert on Lamma, Music@Youth Concert, Fly Weightless Concert,… etc. He has also performed for churches, community centers and elderly homes. Scores of schools have invited him to be judge and guest performer at singing contests. Having created over 80 songs, he also won numerous awards at singing and song-writing competitions.

In an attempt to widen his experience and interact more with the public, Chun Tung moved into street performance in 2010. It was during one of his shows at the Central Piers that he was discovered and signed up by Honger Music Venture Ltd.
